The Famous Author is speaking tomorrow at the San Diego Public Library. Today he flies west. He said he couldn't take me with him this trip--very vague excuses, if you ask me--and so I face a tough choice: Stay here and blog by myself, or sneak my own way out to Cali and surprise him.Why should he have all the fun?

How about a third choice: stay here and have adventures (nice way to say 'get in trouble') that you don't tell him about...let him wait to read about them in the papers...or til the police call him in Cali...
I was in San Diego last week - my timing is off! Hope he's well-received, even if he didn't take you with him.
I've already booked passage. I'm stuffed inside TFA's computer case.
Boy is HE going to be excited when you pop out!
But I'm assuming you had to remove your clothing to fit inside that small space...you might want to be selective about when and where you pop out...
