Happy New Year!

This past year ranked among the all time greats, thanks to my debut adventure being published. But I'm hoping for even bigger things in 2008. Maybe a movie deal with me in charge of female casting...

Whose blog IS this?

Agents blog, editors blog, authors blog, readers blog. Why not a character? I'm sick of reading everybody else's opinion on stuff, particularly those who know next to nothing about their chosen subject. I -- Austin Carr -- decided to have my say on that which I know thoroughly and intimately -- cheap stocks, pricey redheads, and staying alive in the murderous, constantly shifting seas of crime fiction. Welcome to MY world. You may have noticed, the blog is going backward. It's not really time travel, it just feels like it for me, Austin Carr. I get the feeling TFA may never write another Austin Carr Mystery and I could disappear even before I get back to Blog 1.
